Well folks...after waiting just over 4 hours to finally get a ticket, i got in, and sadly, Brett had already played. Very disappointing to say the least, but the rest of the show made up for it. Billy Bragg, Ben Harper, Tom Morello, Mason Jennings, and Serj Tankien all graced the stage in support of the movie "Body of War" and played songs from the soundtrack. It was great, and the closest to RATM as I've ever been. Tom even played Guerilla Radio, and spoke out against the war in iraq.
While I was very disappointed in not seeing Brett, I did get some great shots of the show. Enjoy!

i was alone at this show. i waited in line with another inforooster...he doesn't post much, though. i wanted to get closer once we got inside, so we separated at that point. i still thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Great pics Ashley!!! You should have stuck around for Mason Jennings. It was great!! Thanks for hanging with me in line. We nearly dehydrated but it was worth it. "This Land is Your Land"

This is the clip I took at the end of the show when we all sang Woodie Guthrie's version of "This Land is Your Land". Make sure to listen at the end...its so RATM!!

ooh yes ben is quite the attractive man. even my mom has a crush on him...a huge on, at that.
and, those pictures are amazing. not to mention all the people you saw, even if it wasn't brett!
i have to say that i was listening to the brett dennen station i made on pandora.com, and this song came up and the guy sounded a lot like brett, so it made me think of you
ash---remember when we were standing outside and i said that i thought i heard brett dennen?? it actually was him. he did one song. so did the rx bandits singer. darn those badge people.

lmao! i was definitely red, but unfortunately not drunk. i didn't leave my spot once i got there. some awesome people behind us got some water and shared about an hour before they let us in. i never would have made it without them.
