I just don't understand this kinda stuff. I mean it always seems that these women are fairly attractive. Can't they find "real" men? It must be some sort of control thing.
I don't recall her ever having steady boyfriends in high school, but I don't think I've seen her since summer of 99.
What was really surprising was that she was part of the popular crowd, in honors classes, on prom court, etc. Not the type I'd be expecting this from whatsoever.
Her father's a lawyer, and I'm curious if he's taking that case himself. Haven't found anything about that yet.

i had a teacher in high school who was also the head boy's basketball coach. he was 40ish, but still very attractive, and never married. there were rumors he'd hooked up with a high school girl when i was a freshman.
about a year or two after i graduated, he was busted by the cops. he had been caught by a sting operation and was charged with soliciting sex to a minor over the internet. he also had called in "sick" that friday, even though his boys had a game.
ironically...he was my anatomy and physiology teacher
This actually happened in my high school. A first year English teacher did five guys from my football team. I was on the team but not on that train. The really funny thing is that she was dating the football coach and later married him. They are still together 25 years later.
the health teacher at my old HS married one of his students 2 years after she graduated. he was 40 something, that was 5 years ago tho and they are still together
My biology teacher wound up marrying a woman he started dating as a student too. But there was no jail time involved in that as far as I can tell. Yet she's facing forty years, while my child-molesting uncle only got a year and a half.
I did a rough estimate on the familywatchdog numbers. My hometown has about 3x as many sex offenders per capita than where I live now. Glad I got out.

now that's a new one!
was the teacher significantly older?
nawwww id say around 24 or 25.. while she was 17 or 18...
i went to an all girls school..
fair enough
i mean, i'm not going to say love can't be found in strange places. however, its still creepy that an attractive male/female teacher can't seem to find someone of their our maturity and age to date...at all.
That's different, because there's no academic authority or age of consent issues involved. I unfortunately didn't have anything worthy of a "hot for teacher" situation until I got to college.
But seriously, 40 years when there wasn't even penetration? That seems excessive to me. I'm thinking that's why the kid squealed.

^^I am proud of myself for never, not even once, watching that show.
anyways...this too hot for teacher gig happened three times at my high school while I was there. Once was a lie created by a guy who was about to fail his senior year...a known trouble maker. I can't believe that they believed them.
Another male lost his job after one girl came foward (her mom overheard her on the phone) and then several others followed...ouch!
Of course he can no longer teach and he is a show host on jewerly television. So if you are ever ordering huge gems from your television from a guy named Scott...well let it be known.

Coming from a high school with 4 teachers (male and female) in 2 years fired for similar accusations, and a middle school with a principle fired for the same thing it's not that surprising to me.
Makes me wonder why I couldnt get that one teacher

my exgf had a relationship with her english teacher in 8th grade. she was forced to quit over it... yet she is still a teacher. (this was probably 10 years ago).
funny thing, they are still friends. my ex was a bridesmaid in her wedding last year.

I tease my daughter about it sometimes. She is not amused.
She is 23 & most of the way though her first year of teaching high school English. So far this year she has received love notes, had two death threats (both from girls BTW), had two students leave school to deliver babies, had several boys removed from her class by the school cop and one girl's dad was killed in Iraq. The other teachers say this about average.
The love notes freaked her out the most and she turns them in to the principle. What annoys her the most about the student / teacher affairs is not just the matter of trust but "the dumb b!tches ruining the reputation of my profession!"
i had a high school teacher that slept with two of the seniors..i believe after they graduated. i see her out at one of the bars on the lake all the time. she was once with a younger guy but he was way out of high school. i don't see much wrong with that....but i think it's more of a problem when it's a 40 year old woman with a 14 year old boy.
