I've been on third shift for 16 years. I like it because I miss all the morning and afternoon traffic. Plus they pay you more. There isn't enough money to make me work during the day. I was just wondering if I'm the only one at work late night. I see a bunch of you logged in when I'm at work but, I don't know if you are at home or not. I'm writing this now because I had too many bloody marys and I can't fall asleep. I'm rambling now so I will go to bed. Have a good day at work all. ;D
Boz works nights - but he works 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc.
so he ends up working every other weekend - we are slowly getting used to it.
I do recall seeing him on line at night. Sometimes it's just me and one or two others. Not much going on at 3am. I use to have Erica on at nights, but she is a first shifter now.

well - he works dispatch now - so he enjoys telling the po po where to go at night.
I enjoy having him online all night - if I cannot sleep - I get online and talk to him
My wife works nights. She's an RN and works 12 hour shifts (7p - 7a). She wouldn't work days for twice the pay (and ironically she gets almost $4/hour more for working nights)
The worst shift I ever worked was swing shift as a relief Mgr for a conv. store. The schedule was

I do not work 3rd shift (I have in the past) I am just a nocturnal creature. I usually go to bed right before the sun comes up, so I infoparty every night...which kinda sucks because not that many people are online...

I'm working at a convienent store now.
They close at 12 a.m. and 10 pm. on sundays. so no opportunity for late night shift (which I like, because one of my best friends and fellow bonnarooer works at a marathon, away from the main roads and got a gun pointed at his chest and robbed two nights ago. Ironically he had more money in his wallet than in the register (280 to pay fifth thirds ridic. over draft charges, now his managers think he stole from them. Crazy right?)
But anyway, i work 6 am to 2 pm (Sundays, Tuesdays, Wed,), love that shift. And 4 pm-12am (Thursdays and Fridays).
