well... Ive had many friends who come and go in my life....i think you can still remain friends with her, but go into it realizing that friendships change and grow, maybe you wont be as close to her as you were in the past. i have plenty of friends who i see once every few mths, and our bond is still strong. so as far as im concerned if you would like to see her, go ahead and do it......
im just curious as to her feelings for you. i assume even tho she understands its not going to happen, if she has them for you still...
well i don't know what to say about this problem. i would think that by what you are saying that she still has feelings for you... and it maybe that she feels hanging out with you would hurt to much.. i would talk to her about this and see where she stands. if it is that she does she have feelings for you i would try to explain as nicely as possible that you do not feel this way.. but do try to talk to her about everything... see if yall can work something out and remain friends....
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
yeah, im not sure if she still think of me "that way". I thought we moved past that when we mended our friendship the second time, but we never discussed that specifically. There are some major issues that we have to discuss. I do think I want to try to be friends with her again, but I'm just really scared. Honestly, losing your best friend twice for over 2 years each hurts quite a bit. I havnt had a close girl friend since then... its like im afraid to get to close with my friends now because im worried it will happen again.

strange situation cupcake, but I most certainly think you should talk to her. There are plenty of people that I haven't said a word to in ages, and look back on and realize I can't get in touch with them any kind of way, and it bothers me. So many friends that I had when I was younger, I no longer speak to that I really wish I was still close with. You don't want to look back on this and wonder to yourself what could have been. Just my two cents.
thanks for the advice everyone. you guys are right. In 5 years, its gonna be woulda shoulda coulda and if im thinking this much about it, i think i should go for it.
should i lay it all out on the table in an email so we both know where we stand? Or should i ask her to go out for lunch and see what happens? I don't know exactly where to begin.

nice, just don't open with that you were defending his awkwardness on a message board. you should be alright.

Friends are over-rated. I've dropped most of mine and my alcohol/other "entertainment" expenses have shrunken drastically. I am much better off only associating with other people via internets/cell/text. I'm now in the process of weaning away from that as well. Soon I'll be on Ted Kazenski's level of Nirvana. ;D
