hmm my best show last year was Robyn Hitchcock with Gillian welch, Dave Rawlings, Peter Buck, and John Paul Jones on Mandolin. At a 300 seat theater in Nashville. I know this sounds unrealistic so here is the link on Archive, you can actually here me talking since I ws sitting next to the taper.

Mystic River's pretty damned good... but also pretty f'n depressing. Haven't seen Gone, Baby Gone, yet though.

On the off-topic of Mystic River, Clint Eastwood is seriously one of the most consistent big time American directors of the last decade.

Yeah, but his movies of his early career were pretty hit and miss... then came Unforgiven and a bunch of good/average movies. Then, in the last decade, he's been putting out classic after classic, IMO, and on a pretty regular basis.

I love him, he's a definite fav of mine.
