I'll vote Democratic regardless of who gets the nomination. I'll have to seriously hold my nose if it's Hillary though.
I CANNOT risk another Republican further skewing the Supreme Court. We will have two liberals retiring this term almost certainly and McCain has gone waaaay over to the right to appease the wackos. He's likely to appoint Bush type Justices to help with re-election.
The right to abortions, right to teach evolution and the right to privacy including the entire 4th Amendment are in dire jeopardy. Hillary may really suck but she won't destroy the court for the rest of my lifetime.
Stevens and Ginsberg have all but said they are just waiting out the Bush term so they can retire. With a Democratic Senate we will almost certainly be able to get young, rational judges through to balance the court.
