something people dont usually do when ordering over the phone: always ask what their specials are for the evening. pizza places always have one thing really cheap every day. it might not be something you want, but its worth the shot.
also, tip your driver even if he's later than they said he woudl be. he isnt in charge of the pizza from start to finish, he just drives it to your house for very sh!tty pay. if youre gonna tip a waiter who only has to walk across the resturaunt a few times then tip your delivery folks. i used to deliver for a resturaunt and it was ridiculus sometimes how far i would drive to come back empty handed except for the money for the food. people either dont think sometimes or are plain ole a$$holes

hey lowend, i owe you some karma (gave one out during the last hr)
im a delivery driver, and this is so true!!!!! if it takes forever its not our fault, its either cause we got an unexpected rush, a huge order, something unexpected happened (like the oven conveyor gets jammed and burns a bunch of pizzas...happened the other day) or simply cause its late night and theres only one driver and has deliveries all over the place. it will usually NEVER be because theyre being lazy or whatever so tip your drivers, at least enough to cover gas mileage from the store to your house!! (aka...we know addresses, and usually have multiple deliveries when were out driving, so tip well and any half witted driver will deliver to you before the sheisty/stiffers)
