No, I don't have pictures yet but when I do I'll post them.
Its a looong bus, not a shortbus with most of the seats removed(there are about 5 of the school bus seats left in the front). There are luggage racks along the inside above the front seats. Thats about all I can guarantee will be left when the bus is sold.
This bus was a project of a friend who works for a motorcycle racing company and is frequently on the road hauling his own motorcycles/parts/tires/etc. He only puts enough gas in per month to get the engine started each time, the rest of the time it runs on veggie oil. He can talk for hours on the subject, so if you aren't familiar with how to get oil for free, how to pump it, how to filter it, etc, he'll be willing to help.
He is selling it so he can buy a more expensive school bus with a wheelchair lift to make getting motorcycles in and out easier.
Pictures/details soon, the price will be ~1500. This isn't a rush type deal, he is really looking around right now to see who is interested.
Well, if you follow the Dara(my friend) school of thought, you can do it for much less.. The things you'd want completely unused would mostly be tubing and the like, the pumps/barrels you can usually get second hand... for free. Just be patient, ask around.. some people will be rude, others won't.
For a while he had a ton more luck getting his oil when living in Colorado(he lives in Breck every winter), because you can just go up to any food place that would have the best oil(chinese places usually, stay away from McDonalds) and ask, they're more than happy to give it to you and always want a tour of the bus.
Around here(MoCo, MD) people aren't the same. They have "the way" that they usually dispose of oil and they want to stick to protocol. If someones an ass, you just leave. If someone starts talking about protocol and the way they normally do things, He'd normally say "Well, thats why I drive this bus around, I'm trying to change the way people do things.." and they usually lighten up a bit and are a bit more interested..
the bad thing about them is you get the munchies even being near them when they are running, they smell like whatever was cooked in the oil. french fries, chicken, and such .. i think its a cool thing..
^ LOL yes they can, but only if you have the assembly inside the vehicle. His assembly was once inside the bus and I believe he changed it so it is under the bus now.
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
I think you'd be able to, it would technically be counted as an RV though. That would be so awesome to see!
What color is it? If it's going to Bonnaroo, it had better by painted all kinds of psychedelic colors!

Me and my friends bought an old full sized school bus for our first trip to Bonnaroo, in '05. It was plain white, primer color on the outside, no shine at all. We took out all the seats, put in some vinyl flooring, put in couches, a tv, $3,500 worth of audio equipment, and the best thing of all, an overhead A/C unit. We had other smaller things in there as well, fridge, toaster over, microwave, things of that sort, but that was all run off of power inverters. The A/C was the best part, b/c that was one of the few things that stayed working, and we slept inside, with the A/C, all 8 of us, sprawled everywhere inside the bus. Anyway long story short, the 2nd day rolls around and we started leaving markers and sharpies and things like that on a table outside the bus with a sign telling everyone to leave their mark. Sure enough we came back that night and the bus was covered in graffiti from everyone with signatures, pictures, and stories and all kinds of other interesting stuff. It was awesome. I know I have some pictures from the way up there, without the bus colored, but I'll have to dig around for pictures afterwords. The bus went extinct about 2 weeks after the Roo. We were lucky we made it back. Anyway that was a long story, but I'd love to share more if anyone is interested. ^The inside of the bus before we left. ^Another shot of the inside of the bus on the way there, we had a lot of problems

no seriously, i just talked to a couple of my buddies that live in jacksonville, fl with me. i see that there are several south-easterners who post on here & if any of them want to throw in and take a group next year, we'll throw down a few hundred bucks.
our main issue is that none of us have driven anything that size. and we won't even be back in the country until very shortly before bonnaroo anyhow, so i doubt we could do this on our own. we were just thinking that if anyone else in our area was interested that our money might help start a dialogue about it. if not, no big deal.
