I couldn't find those grilled cheeses you're all raving about....
They were on Shakedown, relatively close to the Centeroo end. They also sold pesto mozzadillas and some other kinds of quesadillas. (Not that this helps now! )

the cost of drinks was just plain wrong. i love the strawberry frozen lemonades! i get at least one every year. in '03 and '04 the $10 burrito was big enough to share and be full, and they tasted good. the spicy pie pizza place was yummy.
the dollar grilled cheese was great! I'm glad I found it (actually I went out LOOKING for it after I heard about it last year and didn't find it). I didn't have any food that was bad, but nothing really great. The pizza definitly was never a bad choice. and I think prices weren't bad at all. Compaired to most places (prices and servings) it was good for me! I never even worried about prices.. if I'm hungry, I'm hungry.. I need food. If I'm in Centeroo, I'm gonna have to spend money. "Oh well, guess that's 1 less beer I'll buy" (me after buying one of them $4 hot dogs by the brewers fest)

the gyros i had were incredible. The fish stand by the What stage was incredible, with chicken baskets, calamari, and mahi mahi sandwiches. The pizza I bought was a little meh.
I subsisted almost entirely on $4 cheese pizza slices the whole weekend. Dear God, they were so good. Also had a $5 jumbo hot dog and a $6 burger, both excellent as well.
The first falafel I had was from sone stand outside Centeroo and was very disappointing, but then I tried one at a vegetarian tent and it was so much better. I meant to go back and try other food they had but never made it.

Everything I had was pretty good and not a bad value: pizza, burgers and chicken gyros - the gyros were very tasty! My friend had one of those $10 burritos but they put so much stuff in it they couldn't even get it folded, it was way worth $10 (although it was not pleasant to watch him eat it). Only thing that made sick was a trip to the Waffle House thanks to the conjunctivitis stricken waitress, makes me ill just thinking about it...oooff!

Anybody tried the fried alligator in Centeroo? I thought it was money.
I tried alligator for the first time this year at roo... It was like $12 but definately enough to share had rice, beans, and veggies... Good meal... I liked it... We got it the next day too....
I had the frog legs dipped in hot sauce at the same place where the gator was being served. Absolutely wonderful!
I think the people next to me didn't appreciate my rendition of "Hello my baby, hello my darlin, hello my ragtime doll..." while making the legs do a Rockette-line high-kick dance. ;D

pizza was the only thing we ate, just too scared of everything else.. and it seem a job trying to get your change back.... like the vendors where just hopein' you where starvin',tired,or just forgot you gave em' a ten for a 4$ slice of pizza!
