I apologize if someone has already brought this up, but any else vote "yes" to move Fawnmart's "welcome to inforoo" thread to the "noob box" on the left where it has a list of must-read threads? the "InfoThreads" box? Seems appropriate it there, it's something I'd want every new board member to read.
^ Agreed. When I suggested the FAQ page (even before Fawnmart created the thread), that's where I hoped it would be placed. IMO, it needs increased visibility. If it's just a stickied thread, noobs might overlook it.

Interesting. I seem to remember back when I first joined the board people would actually pay to make our board ad-free... I've not seen that ad come up yet.
We don't really have any control over the ads that are shown, btw. Until we move, that is

The official welcome thread is now in two spots on the left. It's in the Infothreads box and I also added it as a link so it's literally the first thing you read when you get here (the bold Welcome to Inforoo.com text).

I want to make everyone aware that they can block PM's from any user. Just go to your messages. Click on preferences on the right. You can add any user name you wish to block.

Just a small update to let people know that we added an image resize script to the board. If you post anything that's huge/high resolution and causes a horizontal scroll it will now be resized. If an image gets resized it will display some text above it and turn the image into a link. The link will take you to the full size image. Hope this helps avoid threads being screwy thanks to big images.
