At different times this spring many of the categories had a bunch of thumbtacked "perma" topics at the top. With many news folks signing up, they answered a lot of their questions. How about starting some sort of "FAQ for Newbies"? It would be a good place to put things like the What to Bring List, Leo's survival guide, how to post pictures, where to find and how do download shows, etc

How about a photo section, sorted by years? Checking everyone's pix is one of my favorite post-Roo past times. Also, Yahoo no longer has a limit on their on-line storage. Wouldn't it be cool to open an common account so everyone could upload pix to one massive photo album? Just a thought...

Is there any way to sort postings by year? By changing font color or font type. I know this sounds odd but each new Bonnaroo season I've seen people try to respond to questions from the prior year or arrange rides with someone offering space last June...

Can anyone figure out how get the "count down to Roo" clock to run at the top of this board? I have it on my website and can send you the code.
One thing I noticed last year was a number of times questions were asked or threads were started - tents, good beer, etc. where lots of good questions got answered and the thread became inactive - because anyone who read it would have the info they were looking for. Then based on in activity the thread became buried and someone would have the same question and the thread would start again.....
Is there a way for moderators, especially in Logistics type threads, to keep these type of informational threads in the forefront so that duplicates don't get started? I saw that sometimes threads were combined but not always. A time issue?
Also, is there any way to have a condensed electronic index of threads?
Dozer appreciates the work that goes into this space.

I think this is a GREAT idea. Then, everything would be together, and if someone was maybe looking for one specific picture of something/someone they saw, they could flip through them all in one place to try and find what they want.

Why not just delete "locked" threads instead of leaving them on the board? Obviously, you don't feel they deserve to be discussed (or are already being covered elsewhere), so why not just take them out of circulation? I understand why you wouldn't want someone continuously re-posting but, you could always PM them to let them know. Just a space-saving idea.

Because then we'd have a bunch of "where did my thread go?!" threads filling up the forums. Trust me, the PM route isn't always effective. I can't tell you how many PMs I've sent to folks asking for some cooperation and never got a response.
Locking it generally allows them to see why it was closed down.
is the time going to change? EDIT-- nevermind. it changed. DOUBLE EDIT-- its back an hour behind again, unless it never changed in the first place and im seeing things.

You have to change things in your own settings. Select the timezone that is an hour ahead of your own. Then your gonna have to change it back in 3 weeks, I suppose. This was such a stupid idea, to move it up 3 weeks, IMO.
