I suggested to Bonnaroo twice that they should have an open mic tent going for the unknown with some musical talent and for song writers. I even offered to host it with my sound system and all. All I got was "insurance this" Insurance that" from the coordinators.
What is their beaurocratic problem??? I would think an open mic would be so hot. It would be like, the people's tent! Man, let's spread the word. This would make Bonnaroo better!

wow, i went to the best venue for open mic night ever the other night. it was the dream away lodge and you just bring your guitar/harmonica/whatever you play and sit in a circle and jam with great musicians. it rocked

I just was reading that the Rothbury festival will have open mic..I'm going to both Bonnaroo and Rothbury this summer....Rothbury's website is killer..Yall should check it out.
