Do you think it would be possible to impose a limit on the size of sig images? It takes me 3-5 minutes to open up a thread with over 5 posts on it. Is there really a need to have a picture in your sig that is bigger than your post?
well i cant afford faster internet, and i thought this would be a good idea since most forums already have sig limits, some of the pictures are huge, i come here to read and dicuss, not look at the same pictures a zillion times

Don't have an image sig now, but I've had 'em in the past and I'm pretty sure it's just like the avatar....just a url link in the sig box to the image....course it has to be hosted someplace like imageshack or photobucket....unless someone else has figured how to link locally (not sure I would want to do that tho' ) Hmmm, might have to play to see......
Just paste the URL to the pic in your sig box with img codes around it.....it'll show up big as life...or in the case of Tom...bigger
Now....do I leave the pic on or delete it....THAT is the question....LOL! ;D Ahhh...I'll leave it on for a little while....delete it when I log off tonight....hee! It's a holiday....I can have some fun.....

I'd say leave it, but my computer loads it pretty fast, and i like scrolling down and seeing the pic fly by again and again and again, great photo... imagine we all had huge intense photos like that, okay, maybe that would be a bit much, but once again... great shot!

Yeah, Dylan and Rage....anti-establishment, politicos.....different styles and tempos but same basic message.....I don't remember Dylan dropping the F-bomb quite as much to get his message across LOL!

We don't have cable, but we have cable internet, and if you split and plug the wire into your TV, you get the locals, tbs, tnt, spike, espn 1+2, pax, weather, food, tcl, a ton of spanish channels, and a bunch of weird public access stuff, and all the channel numbers are way off. Oh, laguardia Airport breaks in every now and then too... it's free and and better than my rabbit ears

We don't have cable, but we have cable internet, and if you split and plug the wire into your TV, you get the locals, tbs, tnt, spike, espn 1+2, pax, weather, food, tcl, a ton of spanish channels, and a bunch of weird public access stuff, and all the channel numbers are way off. Oh, laguardia Airport breaks in every now and then too... it's free and and better than my rabbit ears
LOL! Yep, broadband is broadband.....just put a spliter on and it's all good! That's how they can offer those cable/IP/Telephone packages all-in-one! You could probably figure out how to hook up your phone too - but you'd have to get someone at the central office to turn on the card with your phone# to activate it...sigh.....I used to work in the telecom industry...Cox Communications was one of my major customers....they did all that - cable, phone and IP across broadband.....
Cool that you can pick up tower signals from LaGuardia too....what a bargain!

Yeah, one night I will be getting my weekly Smallville fix, and then suddenly air traffic will break, in and I'll witness some horrible... no, that won't happen, but everytime it does cut in, I half expect it to

Ummm, you live in NYC right?? I think I know which 911 system they have.....I don't think you'd have anything to worry about....only if you actually WANTED them to respond.....THEN you'd want to start worrying....
I never have a problem with it.
