corn cat was born out of a thread that started to get nasty - it was started as a way to make light of the situation and diffuse the tension. It came from Killer Bee Relay Team when he added a cool cat eating a corn cob to his signature - thus Corn Cat was born and nom nom nom soon followed.
That is why you will see some of us post Corn Cat in the middle of a heated arguement because we know the followers of Corn Cat will come and nom nom nom

The first page or so is full of flames, then it gets silly. Corncat kicks in about page 3. Unfortunately, Killer Bee Relay Team's sig has changed since then. He was the first to have the complete Corncat video running at the bottom of his posts. So when you see me and others talking about 'that cat', we're really referring to the cat that is now at the bottom of mysig.

We could have a lot of fun with these filters, there's some sort of mad-libs game that could be created here . . . or how about this, there's a "word of the day" that gets filtered but we aren't told what it is. Whoever figures out the word first gets some kind of emotional satisfaction. Games are fun.
