Rock am Ring (Rock at the Ring) added Dave Matthews Band to their lineup, extending their 2007 tour in Europe to the beginning of June.
Rock am Ring takes place in Nürburgring, Germany and is the largest music festival in the country. It was founded in 1985 with U2 as a headliner to innaugurate a race track but was continued due to the initial popularity. Since then it has hosted a variety of the world's biggest acts including Metallica, Pearl Jam, Elton John, Ozzy Osbourne, Sting, Neil Young, Tool and Radiohead.
A host of other artists besides Dave Matthews Band are performing at the 2007 Rock am Ring festival, here's the lineup as of 1/26/07:

Most remarkable about this announcement is that this is the Smashing Pumpkins first tour date since 2000. They had previously announced a reunion in June of 2006 on their Myspace page.
