so apparently all good is only like a 2.5 hour drive from me, my sister went 2 years ago, i was thinking about taking her and her bf with me for her birthday, tickets are only 100 dollars, so is all good worth going to, or will i just be seriously dissapointed after going to bonnaroo?
All Good is like 1/5 the scale of bonnaroo, so it's like comparing apples and oranges. Venue is more beautiful and the logistics are so much easier b/c of the smaller size. For out-n-out party, bonnaroo is probably tops. For more jammy, more intimate music All Good is better. The one stage thing is nice too, you don't have to worry about conflicts.
I went to All Good last year after attending bonnaroo, and I was not dissapointed but rather impressed.
ya i loved all good. hard to say more then roo. but i cant say roo more then all good either. but i can assure you that you wont be dissapointed in all good. i thought the black crowes sucked at roo. and the all good show was one of the best ive ever seen. grab was better at all good. brothers past was better at all good. umphreys was better at roo. but it was a latenight. umphreys daytime shows arent nearly as good. id say bisco was a tie(if you dont count the brain damaged eggmen part of the roo show) grace potter was way better at roo. but that had alot to do with the super short all good set on the second stage that only sounded good if you were close to it. the secondstage shows were just quick sets, about 30 minutes, to switch bands on the mainstage. its nice to get to see all of the big names on the list. no conflicts like roo has. the venue is way more beautiful the roos. but harder to walk around due to lots of hill climbing. over all id say they are different but equal. ill be doing both as long as they keep having them!!!
