It's at Camp Zoe baby! If you haven't been to this place, it's time for you to go. This will be THE biggest event to ever take place at Zoe. 3 nights of Cheese, YMSB, Greyboy Allstars, Los Lobos, and the Wailers at one of the most beautiful venues in America. This is not to be missed.
Damn, I'm doin All Good and BSC is 3 weeks after All Good. I don't know if I can wing both in a 3 week period. It would make for a killer summer, though.
just added this to my list. no way im missing 3 nights of sci. and ive been looking for an excuse to checkout camp zoe. looks like an amazing venue. not thrilled about the drive but oh well. cant miss this!!
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
ya its pretty much a last chance kinda thing. 3 nights of cheese is not to be missed on the last tour. have the family meet ya at big summer classic!! or there is plent yof time left till august. just change itt to the next weekend and do bsc on the way. something. anything! dont miss this!! ;D
Leftover Cheese Incident would be very cool. I assume there will be many kinds of Cheese collaborations all weekend. Hell, it's Camp Zoe; crazy stuff happens.
tickets go on sale may 8th at 10 am. im gonna have to get those right away. i also noticed that BSC is a peak experience shin dig. this is going to be huge. how many people does camp zoe hold? this could sell out fast.
EDIT-- holy shit! camp zoey only holds 10,000 people. this thing is going to sell out quickly. i will be right on it first thing. cant miss this.

I, too, will be right on top of this ticket release. As far as smaller fests are concerned, this will be the best party of the summer. Hell, it will probably be the best party of the summer period. Nothing against bonnaroo, but I feel like roo has lost the connection between awesome music and great party. It seemed most people I ran into last year were there for the bonnaroo spectacle rather than great musical experience. Instead of an eclectic mix of music fans it has become a gathering for bonnaroo fans. I'm not slamming anyone for going to roo, I know they will still have excellent music as always. Bonnaroo was a pioneer for creating a huge festival that still had the intimate feel of a much smaller fest. I'm grateful for all that roo gave me but I think it's time to fly...back to smaller fests where the sense of community is still there. I may go back to roo in the future, but this line-up, while amazing, is not enough attract me.
Edit: I'm sure I'll get smited(smote?) for this, but I always lose karma for being real in my posts.
Don't want to sound like a dick, but it's about damn time ;D!
I live in Springfield, Missouri, so I have to drive 10 hours for Austin City Limits, 12 hours for Bonnaroo, 9+ if I were to do Lollapalooza...this Big Summer Classic is just 2 hours from here, a very easy drive.
To all of you coming - thanks! The more people come to Missouri for good music like the Cheese , the more good music will come here in the future. Too often we get neglected, especially in the southern part of the state. I'm 100% gonna be at Zoe, and I'm gonna be raging hard. See ya' there!

I understand where you are coming from, because Camp Zoe is smaller, and more laid back, you also dont have to buy a vip ticket to bring your booze with you wherever you want, there is no security frisks, the sight is way out in middle of nowhere, I have never seen Cops anywherenear, the land is awesome, and there is acreek that runs through the middle of the property, as well as caves, and as a Missourian I say that it is about F@cking time that we got a bigger lineup at this place that is 3&1/2 hrs away. This is going to be cool, and hopefully Camp Zoe will put on something like this every year. karma for your real opinion, although I will be at Bonnaroo this year, and yes It will be awesome, but overcrowded, and Im going to have to try to sneak my beer into Centeroo,b-cuz I cant afford VIP.
on the website it says your car will be searched and no outside alcohol will be allowed inside. if they find it they will take it. it says you have to buy your alcohol from them. im not too thrilled about all that.
The no-alcohol part does suck. I'm sure sneaking in a case shouldn't be a problem. But I'm also sure there will be plenty of heady brews on shakedown. It's not enough to keep me away from a final cheese throwdown.
I just checked BSC website and saw Infected Mushroom has been added. I listened to some of their junk off their website and it sounds tripped out as hell. I bet they team up with EOTO for the late night set. I don't know--does that sound likely?

I just got my ticket, this is going to be awesome, and I may head up to St.louis on monday morning after this and go to Ozzfest with an old friend of mine that i've known since grade school. what a week it will be.
i havent gotten mine yet. i was all ready to but my friends are slackers. none of us likes the no alcohol rule. and we have alot of friends going to jerrys bash the same weekend. not sure whats happening now. im still all about 3 nights of cheese but we will seee what happens.
I say take the no alcohol thing with a grain of salt.
Besides, even if I did have to buy beers the whole time I was there, it's still worth it to see Cheese one last time. I don't usually drink a ton of beer at festivals anyway; it's especially hard to beat the heat if you're half-drunk, half-dehydrated, half-exhausted from drinking heady brews all day. I had to learn this lesson the hard way at bonnaroo.
But yeah, I got my ticket. Camp Zoe sounds real interesting. That part of the Ozarks is the most elevated ground between the Rockies and the Appalachias; can't wait to see the karst geography.
I would go ahead and buy it. Zoe is not a big place, plus the lineup isn't finished yet. If you've never been to Zoe, this is the perfect fest to get acquainted with the place. Most of the time the tickets for Schwagstock are around $50, so the higher ticket price will keep out some of the more undesireables.

i am very excited, i just purchased my ticket today. do you guys know if they wait to send it or should i get it in 2 days? yo mattland, is yer lil bro going? maybe we can caravan like roo 06. can anyone tell me about the police in MO? i figure once we get closer it won't be a problem but have heard bad midwest/police stories.
SirPemperton, don't go through Salem, MO because they always have a roadblock specifically for events at Zoe. If you come up through Winona and Eminence from the south, there are no cops. Just be careful when driving through Eminence because the speed limit drops to 20.

thank you very much man. that is good info. one more Q.......... how is teh quality of the shakedown supplies? i do not want to be extinguishing mexican roaches all weekend. does liquid show up in MO?
Shakedown supplies are usually top notch. Zoe itself is not that big so people peddling fake stuff always get caught and dealt with. I've been to 9 Schwagstocks and I always find excellent chicken nuggets. Plus, the higher ticket price will keep away more of the shady characters. Also, more paper shows up in MO than anything else.
