Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
damn.... another close encounter of the inforoo kind. i was up front for grace too. right behind some dude against the rail flying a horse helium balloon from his head that is blocking at leasst half of my grace potter pics. it screwed up all my pics of the whole band playing the drums. that was my favorite part of the set. they were having a blast. i wish i had a blow dart to take out that damn horse!!
lol...i was about ten feet to the left on the rail!!!
Heres a good shot of Franti. When they first came out, he was sitting there and I yelled out "POWER TO THE PEACEFUL!!!" and he turned toward me with that smile and I got this one..
Here is a good one of when he came into the crowd. He came right between me and the girl I was standing next to. I got to "help" him over the railing (as if he needs help!)
I really like this shot here:
Tell me Is your Love Enough? Yeah! Love Enough Yeah, Love Enough:
I got over 65 close up shots of the Franti ropeadope performance. I am going to post them all to me photobucket if anyone is interested. I will put up the link later
Edit: I can SO see dudewheresmyroo in that second shot (the one of him in the crowd!)

that is a hilarious picture. also, thank you for posting a picture of my inner thigh for the entire world to see ;D. thankfully, im not that modest. uhg. also, im totally loving all my patterns in that picture. haha
that hoodie got alot of comments. some guy goes 'I LOVEEEE YOUR HOODIE!! ITS SO....... FLOWERY!!!!!!!!!!!!'
OK so here is my review of Allgood…..Wow!! That is it! Nah…
So we head out on the road Thursday morning from Manchester headed to WV. The first half of the trip was smooth and uneventful. At some point in VA we had to go through a tunnel through the mountain. Well, they had one side shut down so the traffic back up for days. We lost an hour and a half waiting there. Other that that, the drive was smooth, no probs. We got to the exit in Morgantown and all of the traffic was turning left. We turned right, stopped at a store for ice and proceeded to go the wrong way to AllGood (my fault!). I realized the error quickly and we were turned in the right direction in no time.
After finding the incoming traffic line, we got in it and headed toward Masontown. The line wait wasn’t too bad. About 3 or 3.5 hours. I got out and walked around a little and met a cool guy named Alan (who I will talk about more later). Alan and I walked down the line of traffic for a ways until we realized that we were no where near getting in yet.
We weaved and turned and twisted through the mountains up hills and down. Deeper and deeper into the woods. Gravel roads, paved roads, two lane and one lane roads. Damn are we ever going to get there. And then you see it. As you round a corner the festival comes into view. YAY!!!!
No search AT ALL getting into the venue. So we get out bands and follow the traffic. The fist thing I notice is the lack of organization. No one is parking anyone. People are getting out of line and going wherever they want to. So followed the traffic on around to Magnolia Circle (that is where Camp Inforoo ended up), found a flat spot and camp right in front of the vehicle. We spent enough time to get up the tent and headed out for DSO.
We got to DSO in enough time to catch two songs from the first set. (I was really disappointed in missing Ozric Tentacles) We caught all of the second set. DSO sounded great and they performed Oct. 29, 1977. Afterwards we cruised around the festival sight. Sought out some party treats and went back to camp to party and crash.
Friday was just more of the same. Some great sets! Some great partying, some great people. So I am standing by the portos down at the main stage Friday evening and up walks Alan (from the line getting in) so we start shooting the bull and we go and hang out for a while. He was a cool guy! Also Friday night I was fortunate enough to find myself in the right place at the right time to have the opportunity to shake Bob Weir’s had right as he was leaving the stage after his set! Then, after that, I got to stand BETWEEN the railing and the stage for Sound Tribe!
Yonder rocked, Keller Killed and Lotus really surprised!
Saturday, for me, was the best day of the festival! We made it to the Ropeadope first in time for Beneveto/Russo. Then hung around for the Skerik/Mike D set, with a special appearance by one Les Claypool, then the Franti set. At that point I made it over to the main stage area for the continuation of my mind melting that was Saturday! (Sometime during the Slip, I went down to get some rice and chicken and was sitting at that tent they had down there with the tables, and up walks Alan, again, so we hang out and chill for a while. I swear I ran into this dude everywhere). Franti, Tea Leaf, moe, the Slip and the All Star Jam, all one right after another, damn, who can handle that!
We got up first thing Sunday and hit the road for the long drive back to Bonnaroo land satisfied that I had just experienced the greatest musical weekend of my life, hands down!
I will be back at AllGood next year, definitely! At this point right now, while the glow is still fresh, I would even give up roo to go to allgood, it really is AllGood there!

you guys didnt get searched at all? we did on friday. the guy like - literally OPENED my cosmetics bag - and checked my ID for the prescripts i had. granted they were hardcore pharmies. but they were BOTH my prescripts and only 2 of them. i was pretty surprised.
damn i am in your pic. i cant believe i didnt notice ya. but i know why i didnt find camp inforoo. i was in magnolia circle last year and this year i turned around everytime i got to that killer hill because i didnt want to come back up it. it destroyed me last year. we didnt get searched at all either. although the mainstage security was kinda rough. we got there right as keller was starting and it was backed up forever. after about 10 minutes of missing keller the crowd got rowdy and started chanting and yelling at security. so the head security guy just said screw it and let everyone run in unchecked. and after that the checks werent so bad. and they even allowed glowsticks in to a festival. who woulda thought! damn i cant wait for next year!!
and just to throw a little salt in it for those who left sunday left over salmon was incredible. vince was really having a great time and it showed. it was an awesome show. we got to watch a real bad storm roll in and we all hoped we would make it. but we didnt. it broke loose about 10 minutes before los ended and it was a serious storm. we couldnt even open our eyes because the rain was slamming our faces so much. and the lightning was borderline scary. so we spent sunday night in the van soaked to the bone, making pancakes, and drinking beer. but we needed to rest anyhow. we were really concerned about getiing out through the mud but it went well. im glad everyone had a great time. wish i had run into yall. well i wish that i noticed that i was running into yall oh well there is always next year!

i was in that line, and in that chant, and yea, wow glowsticks were everywhere i loved it
I know dude, that is amazing that you were right behind me and I never knew it! I walked the hill all weekend and even with the hill, thought allgood was easier than roo. I really liked it back in magnolia circle, It was raging all weekend back there.
I chuckled to Joel at one point because as I was walking in on Fiday night through mainstage security, the yellow shirt handed me 5 glowsticks and I was like....Damn, at roo they take your glowsticks, at allgood they give you glowsticks....how freakin cool is that?!
