i know this would of better suited for inforado, but since the last post on there was made in march, i figure id have better luck here.
does anyone remember what time last year they had they're initial announment for bands? im trying to decide between heading back down to florida in march, or flying to amsterdam for jam in the dam.
^^^ I saw that a while back, but I don't think that's for real. I've never heard of the band either. But Langerado has always been in March. Why would they move it up more than a month? Not impossible, but vey unlikely. I live in Florida and I haven't heard any rumors about next spring's fest yet. If I remember correctly, the initial line-up was announced around the beginning of December and tickets went on sale about a week later.
thanks everyone for answers. dylan, nelson, and johnson? not too shabby, but not as good as last years line up. if this plays out to be true, looks like its ugnna be amsterdam for me!!! which is not a bad thing at all.
Langerado's website announced the initial lineup 11/14 last year, pretty good memory! Did you go?
Yeah, sort of. I couldn't take the whole weekend off of work. So I worked Friday from 7 until about 3 or 4 then drove an hour and a half across the state, saw a couple of bands, then drove back. I did the same thing on Saturday. Sunday I was off, and went for most of the day. It was sooo worth it, I just wish I could have gotten the weekend off and camped there like I did in '06. I also went in '04 when it was only one day in Hollywood (I lived near there at the time). This fest just keeps getting better every year. Logistically speaking, it is by far the best organized festival I've ever been to. And the line-ups are pretty damn good for a fest this size. I'd be happy with Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and Jack Johnson. Not a huge Willie fan, but he's one of those guy's I've still gotta see once.

Without any prior knowledge of Langerado I moved 20 minutes away from Markham Park in '05. I just hope they don't move it again and they keep having them for a long time!!
