you guys all suck. you all have NO IDEA how i want to go just spend my entire next summer going from fest to fest..and its driving me crazy! (okay, well some of you know ) its not about the price, its about vacation time and lack there of.. we will see what happens as it gets closer
Sigh....after the Valley Planet Xmas party tonight I'm back running numbers again....Jill's got me on the fence again...I REALLY don't need an editor/publisher that talks me into things like this... Well...ok...maybe it IS kinda nice In an evil big sister kinda way
And she's talking about the VP sponsoring an indie film festie in our new state-of-the-art theater (complete with bar and REAL food service! Almost like a REAL city ) and also....and this will be my baby too...a local music festie for local indie bands and musicians from the southeast! How COOL would that be? Nothing as big as Bonnaroo or even Echo or City Stages/Big Spring Jam.....but more to showcase local SE talent that gets lost in the Nashvegas/ATL/NOLA shuffle.....I am REALLY excited now! ;D ;D

I MIGHT ACTUALLY BE GOING
pretty excited for of Montreal, !!!, Vampire Weekend, Avett Bros., Roots, Ben Folds, Claypool, STS9.
No, you're not too late. I didn't get my application for the Bear Creek Fest untill after the supposed deadline. The apps for Langerado were supposed to go out Dec. 20, I think, and I just got mine today (Fri.). I already sent it in. I checked the 2 days prior and 3? (I think) days after the fest for availability to work. Hopefully I'll get pre-fest setup on Wed. like at Bear Creek Fest last month. Although this say 18 hours required and I think Bear Creek only said 12. The rules are a little different for pre-fest though. At Bear Creek you worked all your hours in one shift for pre-setup, so hopefully that will be the case here.
