That's so awesome that it's going to be in Big Cypress! I know the chance of me getting a whole weekend off in March is really slim. Now I only have to drive halfway across the state each day!

I think Langerado is going to have camping now, so I don't think driving to and fro would be necessary.

It will be if I have to work. But I can deal with a 45 minute drive.
its a fantastic fest. i love it because of its intimacy. plus its awesome to go to south florida and bask in the 80 degree sunshine, which its snowy and 30 degrees back home.
with the move to big cypress it'll prolly be less intimate. 4 days now and you'll be able to camp there, (they had camping in the past, but it wasnt really worth it) plus i kinda liked the hotel aspect of it, you have to rough it at every other fest, but theres something really awesome about sleeping in a bed in and air conditiond room and getting a shower every day. but regardless, im amped about this change, and think it will make it a better festival. i cant wait for march. the unofficial kick off of festival season happens again with the best langerado yet.
I just got this news today... really looking forward to making it this year. I missed the past 2 years, but with camping it's looking good for this year. Can't wait for the lineup and details of the new site.
yep i sure did. had a blast. and the weather was not nearly as bad as last year although it still wasnt the best. my girl friend and i ingested a little too much tea on friday night and spent some time locked in the van but it was still a great time and we made it out in time to catch john welton so its all good. it was great to see all the ledges people one last tie before winter. damn i cant wait for next summer!!!

Big Cypress is the Seminole Indian Reservation in the middle of the Everglades, halfway between Naples and Fort Lauderdale. It is best know for hosting Phish's Millenium Festival in 1999. Over 100,000 were reported to have attended. Langerado will be held on the reservation this year.
This will be year 6. I've been to 3 ('04, '06, '07). It's a great little festival. It will be interesting to see what changes the new location will bring. Initial artist anouncement on Thursday. Tickets on sale 11-15. Here's the Langerado website: www.langerado.com/08/index.html
