thanks becca . i might be able to pull this off after all. i just cant wait until june for a festival this year. i dont know if id be able to fly out wednesday though...i can only miss one day of class so i think it will be the following monday so i can get a full sunday in.

strum i totally hear you but after i flew to roo last year, my mind was changed... it really is a great feelin to feel rested when getting to the fest grounds...
I flew to Roo the last two years, and there are definate advantages. The drive TO the festie is always fun. It's the drive home that sucks. And it is possible to bring everything you need on the plane.

I only had about a four hour drive to bonnaroo. Not bad. 16-18 hours to langerado. Not worried about the drive there, Just the drive home !!! its goin to be rough

Yeah, in all fairness I've never been the one actually driving home from a festie. I'm always the one trekking the all night drive to, and in exchange I get to sit back and relax on the way home.
I thinkI remember seeing I have 14 hours to Langerado... I'm pumped!

I drove all the way to Bonnaroo, and home. (8hrs total)
All the way to Echo and halfway home. I had to get me a little nap in. The sundries Beat me around knoxville. But It was nice waking up turning onto my road.
P.S. Driving is a privilege, I got a DUI or two in 2005, and I'm still loving to be able to not rely on others for rides.

lol i think "we" payed $160, and my roomate, who is good about paying his part, payed $40, my other friend paid $20, and the other $20. So I paid $80. Lol I think one of my friends went to bonnaroo w/ like 100 bucks or less. Which you can do...but I wouldnt recommend it. Lol. I think I am still bitter about that. lol.

I'm in Philly and would love to go but don't think i can afford to fly down... Is anyone from PA/New York/NJ driving down and have room? Just trying to think of some way I can do this...
