yeah jiglet...ditto its quite the quandary, eh? i think im going to just bring a whole lotta ramen with my jetboil if you want to use that. and poptarts. cherry poptarts.
btw, i cant stop checking the website. like i think somethings going to change. or all of a sudden its going to say, "SURPRISE!! festival starts tomorrow instead!! yippee!!" this is worse than waiting for test results. HA!

I had to do two surveys about when I will be available for orientation and to work.
Basicly I told them I would be available M,T,W...M,T...but prefer Tue and/or Wed pre-fest
jeez thats pretty late. its < 30 days to go and they're just notifying you now? my friend got accepted into the program too but got his notification like a week + ago. i guess you were one of the later rounds?
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

No, I was notified then too. This is just a follow-up to tell them when I'm available.

i'm flying too but have completely abandoned the idea of bringing my own food/water. i just look at it as one of the sacrifices i'm making to avoid an extra 40+ hours of travel time if i drove.
for my purposes its not really that inconvenient anyway. i never eat a lot at festivals...all the partying/sun/etc just does not make me hungry. i'll eat like one medium-size meal and one snack a day, with lots of drinking in between (non-alc).

okay... me and the boyfriend have been discussing it.. and we're going to ATTEMPT to do Langerado.
I still plan on doing roo, of course.
This is SO last minute.. I love to plan stuff out to a tea, and he's very sporadic. So that's where we often clash.
ANYWAYS... I need some major convincing. I have NO money... my parents would have to supply my ticket and some spending cash, and in return I'd be the personal home slave.
And, this is all riding on if we can catch a ride with a friend who is going, and split the gas.
So, is Langerado that amazing to any vets? I've heard great things about the crowd sizes, and now that there's on sight camping.. but someone please convince me to go. I'm almost there.

well kristen, all the convincing i would need is the huge list of ppl from inforoo that are makin the treck down to florida. also, langerado, is breaking new grounds this year, they moved sites!
All i have to say is that this is going to be an absolutely-fricken-amazing time.
Like sparkles said, look at the list of inforoosters going! Thats quite a few awesome people, and you know they've looked into this themselves, so if they're awesome like that and are down with this, its a good idea, right? right?
