I told a friend I really wanted to see the National and he seriously started laughing hysterically cause he thought I was joking... As if it's a mortal sin to miss any amount of Phil when he's closing a festie
think the national will either be a fantastic show, or terrible but at the least not mediocre. fantastic because everyone who's going to miss phil for it is going to be a die-hard fan and be going crazy. or terrible if they don't have that many die-hard fans.
i definitely felt a twang of sadness for them when i saw the schedule though. no other band on the lineup is scheduled during any other headlining acts, least of all one of the best known.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I contacted AirTran regarding bringing coolers onto the flight (err, checking as luggage) and this is the reply I received:
Thank you for contacting AirTran Airways.
In regard to your inquiry, food and other perishables will be accepted as checked or carry-on items. These items must fit within the size and weight requirements as either a checked or carry on item.
RESTRICTIONS:
- All perishables must be packed in a hard plastic, leak-proof cooler.
Only dry ice may be used to cool carry-on food items (due to TSA security regulations, ice/gel packs and regular ice, are not allowed past the security checkpoint).
If you use dry ice and a ventilated cooler, the items (food, etc) are required to be in spill-proof containers/bags inside the cooler.
Dry Ice or Ice/Gel packs can be used for checked coolers, and can be accepted as checked baggage.
Keep in mind:
- Only 4.4 lbs of dry ice is accepted per passenger for carry-on. - Only 5.07 lbs of dry ice is accepted per passenger as a checked item.
