Well after much discussion , we might be going to Langerado instead of Bonnaroo this year. The line up at Bonnaroo is just not doing it. Many acts we have seen already and some of the other acts are well....blah.
I guess with it being at a new location this year It's hard to ask questions. So for all of you have been what do you think?
We would take the camper down and stay in VIP like we do when we have gone to Bonnaroo.

hey guys I haven't checked back in a while!
but here's the deal. I'm not sure I will still be able to go, but my boyfriend Jacob is like, 88% sure he's going.
Is anyone leaving from the New Orleans area, the Mississippi Gulf Coast, or Mobile, Al area? He is more than willing to meet anyone close to these areas and contribute more than enough to gas and funds.
Langerado is too last minute for me to pull off, but he really wants to go, and the parents aren't digging him putting all those miles in the car & traveling by himself.
And the Greyhound buses suck. lol.
so please p.m. if anyone can help with this!
I wish I could party it down with you guys at Big Cypress this year, but we'll do Bonnaroo baby!!!!

At Roo last year, I had a 6 person tent all to myself and I absolutely loved it! I set up a cot inside, had plenty of room for my bag and to move around in... I suggest you stick with that one, unless it'll become a huge hassle with traveling. I don't know much about that, but I could see a 6 person tent becoming a nuisance if you're not driving...

okay, we might be taking the greyhound after all.
A round trip is like, $118 bucks a person.
which i guess evens out for gas and the hassle of driving.. but i think the greyhound drops off at the air port near lauderdale, and the shuttle service is like $60 a person, but I think it includes a trip back after the fest also.
mamma mia.. this is a crazy hassle. I'm not sure what to do :/
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I talked to my boss about taking the weekend off for Langerado. First he laughed. Then he looked at me like I was crazy. then he went on some rant about it being in the middle of the busy season and EVERYBODY keeps asking for time off. Then he said he didn't know, he'd have to look at what's going on that week. Then he went on another even longer rant about my friend, James, the other sous chef, taking 2 weeks off at the end of March for his wedding/honeymoon.
I never ask for time off. The last time I had a weekend was in October. I work my ass off. I'm asking for one weekend. One fuckin' weekend. I know we're busy. All he had to say was "I'll look into and get back to you." But he gave me all this sh!t about how everyone else was taking time off. I'm not everyone else. I'm the one covering for everyone else when they're not there.
Yeah, my shop is having their official Grand Opening the weekend of Langerado. I told em I wouldn't be there, and they didn't seem to care all that much.
