OK, I just got off the phone with Amy from Shimon Presents, and I'll be working 9-9 Wed. and 6 hours Thurs,, yet unshceduled but morning requested. And I am authorized to set up camp on TUESDAY! Which is a damn good thing since I didn't want to go thru another situation getting there in the morning, working 12 hours and sleeping in my truck the first night.
Do you think you can stake out a spot for the inforoo crew?

I don't see any mention of "hard liquor" on the website. I don't see how they could add a rule like that after you've bought your tickets. ================================================= Prohibited Items

I was thinking of leaving my house around that time. I'm not sure I would be able to park and camp with y'all if I don't enter at the same time. Hmmmm, I'm gonna have to do some logisticalizing.

That is my intention. Of course, I have no way of knowing what the situation will be until I get there. However, I'm anticipating a possible free-for-all and little, if any security on Tues. if it's anything like the only other festival I've volunteered at, which was also run by Shimon Presents.

^^It's true... I actually wish someone had been able to take a video of me running from my room to the door and giving the ups guy a hug. I'm sure it was a beautiful thing

Yeah, I understand that, I wasn't trying to contradict you. Just saying, it's wasn't on the website and it still isn't, which sucks although legally within their rights. I'm sure it won't be a problem anyway, will just require careful packing. It just seems counterproductive. They should be concerned about glass, not alcohol. Now there's no reason to worry about what kind of bottle your liquor's in.

hold on so should I build an actual phone tree? where people have responsibility to call like two others about the camp location? Or would people prefer just a straight list of numbers?
