Here is my festival prep routine:
1 month out: plan to make plans to start getting everything ready. 2 weeks out: start thinking about the fact that I haven't done anything to get ready as I had planned to make plans for. 1 week out: sit around wondering if I will lift a finger to get anything ready before Sunday, since I'm leaving early Tuesday morning. Sunday night: start panicing, start doing laundry around 10 pm, spend most of the night working on that, organizing gear, cleaning out truck, reloading truck. Monday: spend most of the day sleeping, rest on Inforoo. Monday night: stay up till around 3 am finishing everything I have to get done before I leave at 7 am, get to sleep 4 hours max., Tues. am: get up, drive 630 miles, arrive at Big Cypress, sleep in truck. Wed, am: wake up wander around a couple of hours trying to figure out where I'm supposed to be, find where I'm supposed to be, work til midnight, sleep in truck Thurs.: work 9-3 ?, set up tent, go to sleep, wake up around 6, locate rest of Inforoo at Langerado.
***Edit: I was thinking of AllGood, only about ~520 someting, I think to Rado.

hmmm, I guess I better let work know I won't be in Thursday or Friday and probably late Monday.
I would just wait till Monday morning and tell them "I'll be late today." When they ask,"What about last Thurs/Fri?", say "I was broken down in the Swamp, I just now made it to a phone."

I convinced a random kid in my class to go to this if he can still buy tickets (which I'm sure he can...)
Ironically enough, when I read most of the line up to him he didn't seem as interested... It wasn't until I mentioned it being on an Indian Reservation that he got really pumped ???
i saw P Groove at wakarusa last year and their set didn't really get me going, even though it could have been because they followed north mississippi allstars and/or(my memory's a little hazy) galactic. and because i wasn't feeling my corn like i had been earlier in the night

Is he in need of asylum? Better keep an eye on him, I think he may want to defect.

i think i might have to take clean wicks on the plane and ditch them when i'm done... and get fuel down there. i don't get to use them much (never burned myself but they scare me). definate possibility.
i thought about bringing my fire heads for a little bit but decided against because i'm flying too and didn't want to have to deal with all the stuff you just mentioned
just going to attach atom heads to my chains and have fun with those. i've actually gotten pretty out of practice this winter and really need to have a couple good sessions at home before i head down or i'm going to have way sore muscles on top of looking like sh-t heh.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Anyone know if there are free cigs at Rado like there are at Roo?? I would love to know I can get free packs of organic american spirits all weekend like I did this past summer!

Hard to say what they'll do, but Santa Fe Natural tobacco (the company that makes American Spirit) is one of the sponsors this year. We can only hope.
i wouldnt count on it...i just buy a carton before i go into the fest. you can sell a few packs if you need too but the worst thing is when you run out and cant find the cigs you like. plus for us northerners that smoke...its almost a no brainer to buy a carton or more in the south.

What kind of fuel do they use?
i use coleman white gas... you can get it easily in the camping section @ walmart.
