Hey besides Bonnaroo, is any one else going up to Detroit Lakes for the 10klf in late july? i heard it is a killer time. just wondering if taking a train up is a viable option rather than driving 10 hrs (a la Chicago).

10K had some of the most beautiful weather I have ever encountered at a festy. A much more relaxed vibe then Bonnaroo where you're always tring to go see the next band on your list. Much smaller making it easier to get from stage to stage. Oh yeah and they provide nice free, ice cold, crystal clear drinking water.
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont, and we're slowly learning that fact & we're very, very pissed off......."

do you remember, was it buhl water by chance? i grew up 5 minutes from buhl. it is awesome water right out of the tap.
i wish 10klf was more diverse in genres like roo. i'd go every year, except i'm not into jam.
