Hey guys, i was thinking of also making the trek to All Good this year too. i had a few questions:
1. first of all, is there a board like inforoo for all good? 2. i see they had early bird tickets available, any idea when they went on sale last year? 3. how many people approximately make it to this festival, 25,000 or so? 4. Is it a pretty good festival to bring first time festival goers to? 5. Would you recommend the overall All Good Festival experience?

everything he said is correct. i had the best time at allgood - even better (dare i say it) than roo this year ;D just bring warm clothes cuz it gets chilly at night!!
thinking about making the trip from ohio. anyone help with these questions? any info would help! thanks!
-about when do they anounce the lineup? -how much do tix cost? -what is the meaning of life? ok so the last one might be a little complicated. it's 5 in the morning!!
looks like the lineup came out the first week of arch last year. so i guess we still got a wait but who cares its all good. its always got a great line up and its always my favorite festival outside of nelson ledges. its everything i loved about roo without all the hassle. and for you ohio people that arent going to nelson ledges your missing out on the greatest fests in the universe. seriously. it dosent even matter what the lineup is at the ledges. its always wonderful. i highly recommend doing the 4th at nelson ledges and all good the next weekend. i promise it makes for an amazing week and a half! www.nlqp.com (damn i can hardly post without plugging the ledges.)

The only future problem I would see is with it being not too far after roo. Hopefully I'll still have funds for the trip to WV.
Is all good similar to bonnaroo with the format and such? Bonnaroo is the only huge fest I've been to, so I would love to venture out and check out other festivals...
The allgood format is actually different. Last year there were 3 stages.. Heres how it works. The two main stages are right next to eachother, and when music stops on one stage, it begins immediately on the other like a tag-team.. its awesome.
Then there is the Ropeadope stage, it is in the campgrounds, you'll find acts like solo Franti. Also, dark star played that stage on thurs last year, i am so sorry i missed it... my ride was going to leave thurs but we got held up till fri, didn't arrive until Yonder Mountain
I think All Good is my favorite fest. Different in many ways from Bonnaroo. Seems much less "corporate" or "produced"... not putting Bonnaroo down... just different (better IMHO). More of a "hippy vibe" I'd say, and usually a much jammier lineup to go with it. Still big but not HUGE like Roo. And much more of an "anything goes" sort of party atmosphere, at least in my experience.
I definitely recommend it. If I had to chose between Roo and All Good, it would probably be All Good.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
