Damn, this is actually pretty disappointing for me. I know they still have bunch more to add so I'll keep my fingers crossed for some good additions. I'm kinda up in the air about this now.
That pretty much sums it up for me. Just don't see enough there at this point, that I won't have already seen recently, to justify a 600+ mile trip so soon after Roo. I'll more likely wait for Echo Project instead, assuming it comes back.
This is the kind of Line up i needed to see!!!!!!!! awesome, i am buying my ticket tomorrow if its still availble for early bird. And Basshound!!!! if you guys havent seen or heard them before, its quite an expierence

One of my good friends grew up with Blake from Basshound. They are all very nice guys and they do rock the house!

I'm not really sure which other thread you guys are talking about All Good in, but I can confirm here that Phil Lesh and Friends and Keller have both signed for All Good 2008.
I have some thinking to do. I really want to go to this, but I'm going to see a lot of these bands at Rothbury the week before. And the funds aren't exactly free-flowing. But I really want to go. So we'll see

Exactly. I absolutely love All Good and thought I would definitely be going even before the lineup was announced, but the only bands that excite me are Phil & Friends, Medeski Martin and Wood, and Railroad Earth. I'm not a fan of Panic or Mule and the other bands I kinda like I've seen a lot before. I'm sure it will be amazing but with Camp Bisco right around the same time I'll have to pick one. I was just hoping for Umphrey's or STS9 or Lotus or moe. or Yonder Mountain or Claypool or Ween. They still could be added though. It's a nice lineup, just not sure it's worth the trip for myself.
ALL GOOD 2007 went as follows... so take what you will with the additions. Last year started with some jamband/jamtronica added jazzy, bluegrassy bands...
3-8-07 FIRST LAUNCH OF ARTISTS: # Bob Weir & RatDog # moe. (perf/ 2 sets including late night all-star jam set) # Keller Williams # Michael Franti and Spearhead # Les Claypool # Yonder Mountain String Band # STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) (perf/ late night set) # Lotus # Tea Leaf Green # Perpetual Groove # AOD # PBS (Porter, Batiste, Stoltz) # SOJA # New Monsoon # Will Hoge # West Indian Girl # Lovewhip ...plus many more TBA
4-23-07 Round 2 Artist Announcement: # Drive-By Truckers # Benevento/Russo Duo # Sam Bush # The Bridge # Lee Boys # Ryan Montbleau Band
5-16-07 Round 3 Artist Announcement: # Steel Pulse # Soulive # Grace Potter & the Nocturnals # The Slip # Bob Schneider # The Pietasters # Benzos

i hear that! i kinda like that the lineups are so similar... make people go somewhere other than allgood... for a while it was looking like it'd be the number one fest of the summer, but now its gonna be because of the atmosphere, not the amazing lineup, which will keep the crowds small, hopefully

This lineup looks awesome and all, but this lineup also makes me happy that we have Bonnaroo. The diversity at B'Roo is unparalleled, and exactly the reason it keeps me coming back. IMO, there are only so many times that you can see this exact lineup (which is waaaaay too often) and be stoked.
EDIT: My assumption is that the selling point on most of these festies is just the location/atmosphere. For which I hear AG is fantastic for. With that said, it would take some outside the box lineups/additions to get me to go in the years to come.
