This sweet local Columbus band is going to be playing at Summer Camp. They're sweet as f*ck. You shoulc check them out. The Floorwalkers www.myspace.com/walkinonfloors
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
I am considering this instead of bonnaroo this year. I would like to see more jam bands and seems like that is all this festival has. Bonnaroo is trying too hard to cater to everyone. The latenights are great. But if it caters to everyone it might end up catering to no one. I feel like summer camp would be perfect for me. I would like to know a few things about it though.
Is three sisters park a state park? Because I hate state parks...way too strict. Are they nosey or let you be in both the campgrounds and the main area? Is it 24/7 like bonnaroo? Or how late do the latenights usually go for? Someone mentioned that there is only a pre-fest. car search and no search other than that. Mainly for alcohol. Is this true? How much IS the beer? Did they fix the hot barn situation or is that the only latenight stage?
thanks for any answers you have!
If it's as good as it sounds then I'm in. It's a little longer drive than bonnaroo for me (TX) but I'll swing it for a better lineup and environment. Plus a huge reason....NO BONNAROO SICKNESS. God that was horrible.

I don't think its a state park, but I am not 100% sure on that. Last year was my 1st year at Summercamp and I did not attend any late nights , but I know they do last until at least 2 - 4am. But as usual, people are up and partying (there was a huge drum circle Saturday night I think by one of the smaller stages, I left about an hour before sunrise and heard it until about 530AM. awesome times) around the whole campground 24/7. My car never got searched, only the items we carried in from the car. Beer is expensive but I'm only 20, so I really do not know the exact pricing. Id guess around your overpriced beer price at a sporting event or large venue. I've heard the barn gets ridiculous. Not sure what has been done for that though. Summercamp is a great time! Camp in the forest!

I bought my tickets for Summer Camp already (first time at Summer Camp, this will be my 5th Bonnaroo) just wondering what the beer selection is like? I know you cant bring your own but does anyone know what kind of beer they sold last year? Please dont say Miller only or I will be forced to attempt bringing in my own
My favorite tent at Roo is always the Brewers Tent!
Ok what Inforoosters are going to this? I was already to buy my ticket today, and my friend backed out. I need to make some big decisions before prices go up on Sunday. Anyone going VIP? I was pretty convinced of upgrading. If anyone wants to ride together, let me know.
if you cant make summercamp go to hookahville!!!! its so much cheaper and closer. and you can not only bring alcohol into the venue you can take your cooler right to the stage.... not that you would though because you can see the stage from all of the camping areas.
but if i could do what i wanted with my memorial day id go to summercamp. thats a sweet lineup. but im happy i at least have hookahville. and the hookahville lineup is pretty damn good anyhow.
