Anyone going from Rothbury to AllGood??? If anyone is thinking of doing this and wants a travel partner (i'm either taking the Greyhound or i can pitch in for gas) let me know. This is going to be a summer of the ages. Peace and love to all....
i'm doing this. leaving dayton ohio to >> rothbury >> back to OH to see tom petty on the 8th >> leaving for allgood on the 10th. gonna be a great 2 weeks! don't think i can help since you live in TX
If I end up going to Roth, instead of Roo, this is my plan of action too. I would want to volunteer for post show cleanup at Roth for a free ticket, then camp an Nelson Ledges for however many nights until Allgood starts.
I just wish The Mars Volta would confirm the rest of their spring/summer tour dates so I can plan my summer!

ill be doing both. and i also live in between the 2. but with all these people going to the ledges in between i might just do that. well maybe 1 night at home in my bed. i will have to wait and see how many people i will have riding with me to rothbury. people are flying in from florida and cali but im not sure how many yet. i might be able to help a person or 2 with rides and whatnot.

absofreakinlutely! ever been to clifton gorge? it's right by the glen and it's really beautiful! i try to get out there for a hike AT LEAST once a month. those are my old HS stomping grounds! "hey mom, i'm gonna stay after school to... uh... study"

Hell yeah. I love that whole strip. I have a special fondness for the Glenn though.
So I am a little worried about being able to afford both of these back to back. Not that the tickets are a big problem, but all of the spending money and gas can be. So this is my new plan. I just applied to volunteer at Rothbury. You still have to pay for the ticket, but after you finish your shifts, you get that money back. So I figure that money will cover all of my expences for All Good. Let's hope I get this. Otherwise I'm really going to try to make it work, but it could be a little iffy
