I'm sorry, but this would be an absolute travesty if it happened. Bonham is irreplaceable, and while I don't mind the remaining guys getting together, them calling it Zep goes against every piece of shit they've spewed for the past 20 years in regards to putting Zep to rest.
while i agree somewhat id still be excited as hell to see them. and bonham is irreplaceable. but they are using his son. so its not so bad to use the zeppelin name. they could always go as zeppelin. kinda like the dead. or whatever. i could care less what they call themselves.
I'm sure it would be very expensive, but god if there was any way I could go I would. These guys won't last forever, and as incredible as Bonham was, you have the closest you could get to him with the sun. I'm not sure how much they would be up for a full reunion though, I thought I read sometime a while ago that Jimmy Page said that he could never play "stairway" again with Robert Plant.

type in led zeppelin in the google news section... if it was true, there would be hella news everywhere, i would think it would be a pretty big deal, considering they are arguably the greatest rock band ever.

You beat me to saying the same exact thing. The Sun is not really a credible source and there would be buzz everywhere if this was true...maybe more so than the Police.

The Sun may not be a credible source in the US, but in the UK it is the newspaper that everyone reads and it is a very credible source (I was born and raised in the UK).
And yes I know it seems very tabloid like because of the topless women etc., but that kind of thing is acceptable over there. I would say it is the equivalent to USA Today.
