Wow. Anybody listened 'Friend or Foe' yet? The album sort of sums up what's missing for me when I listen to Wolf Parade or Arcade Fire. The band's coming in to play for SxSW and might be one of the few acts I actually brave the crowds to check out. Really great stuff. Highly recommended.

I second that, check it out if you havent yet. Really solid album, from top to bottom.
I'm lovin' it. My friend in Seattle just saw em on Friday night. He said they were quite fantastic live as well. I never heard of them before Friend or Foe, but I got their album before that I Am the Fun Blame Monster which I think I like just as much if not better. I can't wait to see these guys.

I'm gonna try and catch their show in cleveland. Field Music's new album has gotten pretty solid reviews as well, although i havnt heard it. Thats who they're playing with on their tour though.

Damn, I just picked this up yesterday and although I could only give it a distracted listen over the stereo while doing crap around the house, I was very impressed. It seemed like I spent a little bit too much time picking out influences and similarities to other bands but I have a feeling that once I give it a proper listen with headphones and stuff it'll come into it's own.
