So I got a the deluxe edition of The Village Green Preservation Society today, and it was worth the wait. They did an absolutely first class job on it.
Anyway, I'm a bit of Kinks novice. I have a few of their albums. Including the aforementioned deluxe set, I have Something Else, Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround: Part One & The Kink Kontroversy. Any other album suggestions? Or any love for the Kinks you want to express in general?
Schoolboys in Disgrace is a personal favorite. No More Looking Back is an amazing song, but it's pretty personal to me and others may not agree. I would say that Preservation Act #1 and Misfits are must haves.
