As a Manchester TN local, long time Bonnaroo attendee, and Bonnalito executive I'm trying to get on the lineup at Bonnaroo in some small capacity. We of course are not talking a major stage or an excellent time slot, just somewhere on a side-stage playing music and being part of the Bonnaroo experience would be a small dream come true.
As a Manchester local, husband, and father of two, I don't have many industry connections or do a lot of gigging, so this is an attempt to start a grass-roots petition of sorts to get me, again as a Manchester local, on the bill. Sure its an unlikely longshot, but if you dont play you cant win, right?
I also have two names in the Bonaroo / AC camp as contacts, have been contacting local media, and if you can tell I'm really pushing the whole local thing.
Anyhow, here is the thread and the forum, if you are interested in granting some support.
Any other help anybody can give would be appreciated! Write ups, myspace adds/bulletins, any leads on Bonnaroo contacts, anything. If you can give me ahand in any way I will send you a link to my album for free! I plan on getting in touch with them with my multiple promos / web / relentless human interest story within the next two weeks.
