The Wanee Music Festival is the Allman Brothers Band's own personal festival they hold in the middle of April. This year it was April 13-14. It is located in Live Oak, Florida at the Spirt of Suwannee Music Park, it is about 30 miles from the GA-FLA border.

A friend of mine who went with the group of five of us told me that Wanee was 10x better than Bonnaroo. I hope that isn't blasphemous around here. Personally I thought it was an awesome festival and would recommend it to anyone here on the boards here. It also helped that I met Derek Trucks at the festival. That was cool.
