widespread was really good to my recollection as well. but when i heard the recording that they put out on there website, i was blown away. they killed it. my memory from sunday is a little fuzzy. i was so tired by then.
i put up a top 10 set review on the last page of that thread, but i'm more than happy to talk about langerado some more ;D
lotus was great, especially the transition into/out of around the world... man, all my friends and me went ballistic. i was just frustrated that they were playing at 1:30 in pretty much the hottest part of the day, even under the tent so it was tough to really go crazy dancing, not to mention my utter frustration at my body feeling compelled to rave and being unable to use any glowsticks. jamtronica like their style is so much better suited for night sets and i'm calling it now that in year or two doing the tour circuit they'll start landing late night sets...the guys can play. i saw them at the bowery ballroom in nyc too before 'rado and they were really good there too.
i didn't really catch any of panic's set. we were there for the start of the set and left at like 8:00 because we wanted to hit girl talk. after that most of my friends wanted to hit new pornographers and i was gonna go back to panic and ended up saying f it because pornographers were already playing the same tent as girl talk so i didn't have to walk, and swamp tent was a much closer walk back to camp after. clearly i too was tired by sunday evening
i can tell the recording you posted is better but its not significantly better enough for me to warrant the spending of money on a show i already paid to see once
