I live in a large apartment building in Queens New York. One of the building's doormen lost my moe. tickets which arrived the other day. I just wanted to vent because I'm going to flip out any minute.
I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?"
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
It was FedEx. I checked the tracking number and I know which guy signed for them. I'm going later today to talk to the building manager. I would rather get the tickets than money from the building. I had two tickets for the Friday show at highline which is really the only night I could go.
Lakai - If i can't get my tix back and if i can clear my saturday I'll let you know about possibly buying that saturday ticket. I'll know better later.

Just a note to everybody. I GOT MY TICKETS!!!! It turns out the doorman gave the tickets back to the FedEx guy so I had to drive to the distribution center and pick them up. I have been trying to track them since about 1230 today and I just got them. A day was wasted but who cares because I GOT MY TICKETS.

I really liked it - to put it into perspective my least favorite venue is Nokia Theatre...its not gritty enough!!! There is a upstairs and a downstairs, we walked in as they were comin on - and the downstairs got filled up and they closed off the area - and we had to go upstairs (still a good view and time tho) at set break we moved downstairs ;D. Its a great lil venue tho! good sound, nice staff - if you know what i mean . but we did see a few kids get kicked out. not sure for what tho.

yeah friday/saturday setlists definitely look really good, and the taping i've heard of saturday is really good too. one of my friends who went to friday said his favorite part was the gordon stone sit-in for 'happy hour hero'
i was at wed/thu/sun and definitely enjoyed sunday's set the most of the three, though all were definitely solid shows if not really experimental. there was not a happier person in the place when i -finally- got the 'kids' jam i've been waiting for since like 'roo last year
