Greyboy Allstars tore it up. I hate Chicago's House of Blues, it's non-smoking and just overall terrible, but I know a fierce show when I see one, and Greyboy was just that. Karl was especially on, and I think Robert Walter was pretty baked for most of the evening. He finally had a nice breakout solo during Tenor Man at the end of the first set, but was otherwise pretty low key. Regardless of his state of mind, he still sounded good throughout.
I am sad that they won't be at Roo this year. They will be missed for sure.
i want to see this band SO much, why wont they just play near me?
come one man. they are playing gratefulfest at the greatest festival venue in the world less then 2 hours from you. what more could ya ask for. get your ass up there i saw them latenight at all good last year and it was an incredible show. i cant wait to see them again this summer.

ya i was just looking at that, its a good 4 1/2-5 from me though. still not too much, but i would need to do serious budgeting at roo to be able to swing it, or see how many heady veggie breakfast buritos and bloody marys i can sell. im still holding out for a "TBD" GBA though.
