Ahhh........I wish they would play in TN. I personally like State Radio more than Dispatch, I think the songwriting and lyrics have much more meaning in State Radio. Songs like "Flying Horses" are nice and catchy, but I prefer the political lyrics of State Radio in songs like "Camilo."
I love both! but I never got to see dispatch. This will be my 2nd state radio show and this venue is sick.. you can get so close to the guys and hang with them after.. it uber chill. come to florida!!
i was at the show LAST NIGHT!! it was amazing... i was given chads guitar pick personally after the show and had hugs and autographs and a picture with him! best venue ever! i have nooo voice now!
some of my pics!!
this is of me and my friend red (coolginger here on inforoo) with him!!!
edit: I ASKED HIM IF THEY WOULD PLAY BONNAROO!! he said they had tried and really want to but had been turned down or something! I told him thanks and to keep trying!
Holy crap, what a fun night!!!! Chad is an incredible musician!!! We were literally singing right along with him with our drinks on the edge of the stage!!
If you want to see State Radio at a fest, they are booked to play moe.down this year in upstate NY labor day weekend.
I've met Chad a couple of times at shows, and met Chuck once and they are really genuine, friendly guys.
Anyhow, for Dispatch fans out there, PM me if you are interested in buying at ticket for the sold out show at MSG in NYC on Sat July 14th. Since I severely sprained my ankle at Roo, I won't be able to use my ticket and I'm willing to sell it for what it cost me (with fees & taxes, etc. $53).
