Talk about a blast from the past - saw NRPS this weekend. Don't know how many of you youngsters know of them but their most known song is probably "Panama Red". They played at a very small venue in Springfield, IL to benefit a bassist who used to play with them - Bill Laymon. Bill is battling a series of serious illnesses and there have been many benefits to help him pay for his medical expenses (he has no insurance). Bill now lives in Springfield and has played with many local bands in the past few months. NRPS sounded pretty much the same and did all their hits - really good show in a really small place.
