That SoCo music experience stuff is no BS. I saw Galactic w/ mr Lif and Cypress hill this year in Atlanta. totally free, no strings attached. You just gotta be 21.

I was at that!!! It was excellent (except for the few minutes of rain, but that was over so quickly it didn't make much difference).
They probably don't have to charge because they make so much off the drinks. We were just drinking beer, and I about went broke!
I saw the Lips live and for free here in the middle of Atlanta last year at the Soco Fest. Great time. Big Star played, then De La Soul. Afer De La played, everyone completely cleared out to use the bathroom and refill their drinks, so I got a PRIME spot for my first FLips show.
Drinks and food were pricy, but the mixed soco drinks they were selling were sugary bliss. Good stuff.
