What seats did you get? We're in section 1 row G. It's right by the stage, but way towards stage left. I'm almost worried that we won't be able to see. I've always sat on the balcony, so I'm kindof leery of the main floor.

This is a shot from my seat at Ben Harper last week. I was in section 1 Row K seat 4. You should have a great view. I'll be back up in the balcony for Regina, but you have very good seats. Trust me...
I just bought my ticket. I'm in the balcony just right of center. Section 11 Row P Seat 1. Buying single tickets sometimes gets you a better seat but I always stand at the back of the balcony anyway. Not a bad seat in the Ryman.
Just a note, Regina Spektor collapsed before the show and was taken to the hospital. At last word she was okay but the show was tentatively rescheduled for 12/6.
Regina cancelled the rest of her tour to recuperate. From what exactly I don't know. They said hold on to our tickets and they'll be good next time around (whenever that is.)
Reporting in from the show (in a mildly drunken state.)
It was a great show. RS sounded great and seemed to have a blast. She was eloquent and funny at the same time. I was kind of bummed about going to the show, just in a funk, but I always remember that I've NEVER regretted going to any show. I've regretted NOT going to plenty. So I went.
Once again I am very glad I did. RS was made for an intimate setting like the Ryman. Not sure she would have been as good at Roo just do to the setting.

Anyway. Off to bed.
I love me some Regina. She was great at the Lucas Theatre in SAV last spring.
