Who all of the inforoosters going to this show at the Cannery Ballroom? I am debating on going but none of my friends are going to be able to go, so I am seeing if anyone on here will be attending this show. I have never seen Bisco, so that is my main driving force to go see them, especially at a small venue such as cannery. The show is only 18 bucks.

Its 18 dollars for a reason, and that reason is they blow. Sorry but I gave them a second chance at the Echo, but their tunes are to spacey and elementry. Anyone can hit the same keyboard key 500 times. No hard feelings I just think they have little or no talent.

Wow, I personally thought it was a great show. They played from 9:30 till 2 with a 30 minute break and had a great time. They sounded great in the small venue and the whole crowd was into it the whole time. I also meet some cool people at the show, and that is really all that matters. Good vibes, and good people. If they did not have talent then how come they are becoming one of the bigger bands around then. If it is so elementary then why arent we all famous musicians then?? But then again, to each there own.
Edit: Also stingcheesestick, I was just trying to help spread the word on here and was not asking for any criticism on musical taste. If I was proclaiming that Bisco is the best band in the world and every other band out sucks, then criticism will be do. Not when a good band is actually coming through the area. Get over yourself.

Well I still wouldnt go see them even if I got a free ticket, I have seen them a good bit and I wouldnt say they are a good upcoming band. I would say that alot of people have little taste of music as long as the band makes some trippy sounds and jams then the crowd will just accept it. This is being said from someone who plays music and feels that some bands get to much credit for little effort. What ever happened to freedom of speech?

^^Damn! I was deciding between seeing them in DC, Baltimore, and Richmond and chose Richmond. Turns out everyone else on here chose the other places :-\
I went to see tDB in Boone last night and they were freakin awesome!!!!!!!! It was a pretty small venue with not very many people there and the show was really good! The second set was very untztastic with a nice little Munchkin Invasion that I was wanting to hear!
Saw them here in DC tonite at the historic warner theater, super nice old school place, I was a little surprised thet let bisco play there, but people behaved themselves, good sound, I was stoked to see them finish the i-man they started in boone the nite before, they laid down a kickass pigmy. photos and a more coherent review to follow tomorrow.

I gave them 3-4 chances, but for some reason I cant get into them at all. I mean I really think they have good songs, but they continue the same keys over and over and it puts me asleep. Iam a artist myself so I expect alot out of a band if they are a large well known band. For some reason I enjoy umpherys.

you've also posted in this thread 3-4 times, each time with something negative to say. now, maybe i operate differently than the average message board user, but when i see a thread about a band i don't like...I DON'T READ IT! and I certainly don't post sh-t about them in said thread.
in short: your opinion has been stated already, and duly disregarded. have a nice day.
now on to business: anyone who wasn't at the wilkes-barre show on saturday really, -really- missed what i'm gonna predict will be the show of fall tour. I distinctly remember looking up above my head during Story > inverted Ladies > Story and seeing what I think was my disembodied soul doing the craziest dance before I reached up and grabbed that sumbitch and stuffed it back into my body
edit: anyone going to the Halloween show in Boston? im going as Kaneda from Akira
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

Yeah that Wilkes Barre show was pure fire. Only my 3rd tDB show but easily the best. That Morph>Basis>Morph>Basis to end the 2nd set was mindblowing. That show has me now considering heading up to Albany tomorrow to see them again.
