Well, there's been a bumper crop of great shows in Tucson lately, enough to put a serious strain on my time and my wallet. But tonight there are two shows I really wanted to see, and I need to pick one in a hurry. 1. is Gogol Bordello at the Rialto Theatre with Dub Trio and DJ Dubta, $20 2. is Southern Culture on the Skids with Hillstomp at Plush (a small club), $12
I have not seen either band, though I did hear a bit of Gogol finishing up their opening set while waiting in line to get in for a Primus show. My gut origionally said SCotS since it was cheaper and the venue more intimate, plus I've heard really good things about Hillstomp. Oh, what to do? Any input, suggestions?
