Hey, well there is HoodooOperator and myself that are on here regularly from Chicago. I've got a bunch of shows on my last.fm profile I'm planning on going too but am always up for something new. I think I may go to the Xavier Rudd show.

Starting today Cornmeal starts a residency at Martyr's. Every wednesday this month they will be playing. On the 19th The Omega Moos are playing at the Kinetic Playground which is right across the street from the Aragon, they are a band that is Brendan Bayliss and ryan Stasik of Umphrey's McGee and Darren Shearer and Jamie Shields of the New Deal. I really want to make that Omega Moos show but wont be able to as I will be leaving for California for a music convention and to check out some concerts there.

I see shows at martyr's often...saw perpetual groove/family groove company the last time, have a friend that works there that puts us on the list! His band (a talking heads cover band) is actually playing there tomorrow night. The prices there otherwise are kind of crazy.
