I think you mean Cornmeal, and they are supposed to be very good. They are a bluegrass band and what I have heard has been good. I've heard a lot of people rave about them so I would definitely check them out.

Thank you! Will def be checking them out. We have a system at the club and see all of every show in order to get the spot we want. It involves standing in line for an hour+, but is worth it. This will be a full show for sure, 'cause doors are at 7:00.

Cornmeal are flippin' great. I've seen them four times since I've been out here in CO, which is kind of odd, considering they're from Chicago, where I'm from, and I had never heard a peep abotu them. Seriously, you'll be hard pressed to find a band as deserving of all they hype they've received over the past year. Allie Kral, their fiddle player, is spectacular and did some work on moe's newest album, so guest spots shoudl be inevitable.
I've had the opportunit to chit-chat with most of the band and they're all really neat people to boot. On New Year's day a couple weeks back, the gf and I had to run back to the Stage Stop, where we had seen Cornmeal the night before, to grab my jacket - which I SOMEHOW left behind in the bitter mountain cold. The band was still loitering around and had apparently spent the night at the venue - cool moment.
