They're a pretty good band hailing from Akron, Ohio. I saw them last night and it was sheer bliss. I used to go to High School with one of their members (Jesse), and he introduce me to another person who went there-ten years ago! That's right, the drummer was a member of Oakwood '98. Anyway, I got to pick up two cds last night and Jesse even gave me three free buttons. It was pretty laid back. Their first set was sort of mellow and atmospheric, while the second was all out rock. I think I might make them a few stickers as payment, but they have an actual label contract now so they might not be able to sell my merchandise. Even if I give it to them. Then again, I could recommend for them to just give them to their friends or keep them for themselves. Anyway, they seem to be hitting it off in a very big way. They are signed for the 2009 Super Bowl Half Time show, for Gods sake! And they aren't superficial about it... at least so far. Jesse didn't have beer at his graduation party, for instance (So my sister tells me). They all seem to be really good kids. Anyway, the show was free which was another plus. Yes!!! I live near Cincinnati, right across the river in Kentucky. I saw them at the Midpoint Music Festival this past year. I think they should play the 'roo.
