Ok I'm bummed....I've seen the Allmans at the Beacon at least twice, usually three times every year for 10 years....they just announced this year's dates....and that the tickets are gonna be $150 plus ticketmaster.....
WTF!?!?!
Guess it's just one show this year for me. Thoroughly
The loge...one level up from the floor is great....but in the past, those tickets cost the same as the floor tickets....the balcony (two levels us from the floor) is hit and miss....some seats cant see, and the sound isn't very good.

IMHO... the Balcony is the ONLY place to see a band at the Beacon... never had a problem hearing or seeing, AND that's ALWAYS where the real fun party is, or at least where my kind of party is...
...................besides that... ... MSG ... who I am always bitching about, as of last year, BOUGHT the Beacon... so, even if you WANT to pay that ridiculous amount to see them, .................... good f'n luck getting tix
Wow. $150? That's a lot of coin. I went to one of the Beacon shows in '03 and the ticket was $46 plus ticketbastard fees. I saw them last summer with Keller and Ratdog, and that ticket was $67 plus fees.

I saw them last year in ATL and it was like $60ish once ticketbastard(clever, I'm going to use it) took their share. Awesome show though. They're from GA so they're wildly popular in the southeast. We stood in line when tickets went on sale and the main ticketmaster office in ATL.
